- ¼ cup Kahlua
- 1 tablespoon dark creme de cacao liqueur
- 1 cup hot chocolate

Instructions
- Prepare the rim: Pour 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup onto a small plate. Turn the glass upside down and dip the rim into the chocolate syrup ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Coat the rim: Immediately dip the chocolate syrup-coated rim into a shallow dish containing 1 tablespoon chocolate sprinkles to create a decorative, chocolatey edge.

- Add the liqueurs: Pour ¼ cup Kahlua and 1 tablespoon dark creme de cacao liqueur over the ice cream in the glass.
- Pour hot chocolate: Gently pour 1 cup of hot chocolate over the ice cream and liqueurs to fill the glass.
- Top and garnish: Add a generous swirl of whipped cream on top. Garnish with mini chocolate chips, coarse sanding sugar, additional chocolate syrup, and/or chocolate sprinkles as desired for extra texture and flavor.
Notes
- Prepare the drink just before serving to maintain the ice cream texture and fresh garnishes.
- Hot chocolate and liqueur quantities can be increased and combined in advance, but pour over individual glasses with ice cream scoop right before serving.
- Feel free to experiment with other liquors like rum, coconut rum, Bailey’s, or chocolate vodka for different flavor profiles.
- Substituting chocolate ice cream or combining vanilla and chocolate ice cream will intensify the richness.
- This drink is quite rich; if desired, increase the alcohol for a stronger kick since the hot chocolate and ice cream balance the flavors well.
- Use a quality hot chocolate mix or homemade recipe for best taste; the Hershey’s cocoa powder recipe is recommended.
