- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 3 pounds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Creamy Topping Mixture
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions, divided
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, divided
Instructions
- Prepare and Preheat: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x13x2 inch baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Cook the Bacon: Cook the bacon until it is crispy, then chop it into small pieces and set aside to cool.
- Tenderize and Season Chicken: Pound the chicken breasts with a meat tenderizer until they are an even ½ inch thick. Season all sides with salt, pepper, and paprika evenly.
- Make the Topping Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped bacon, softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, 2 tablespoons of sliced green onions, and 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds. Mix until well blended.
- Assemble: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread the cream cheese and bacon mixture on top of each chicken breast.
- Bake: Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of green onions and 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds on top of the baked chicken before serving.

- If you prefer spicier flavors, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning.
- Ensure chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit internally for safe consumption.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated gently in the oven or microwave.
