Scale
Main Ingredients
- 1 10-ounce package ravioli (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 2/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or dried basil)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- Cooking spray
- 1 cup marinara sauce (warmed, for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare breading mixture. In a small bowl, combine the Italian seasoned bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning (or dried basil), and salt to create a flavorful breading.
- Prepare egg wash. In another shallow dish, whisk the two large eggs lightly with a fork until well combined.
- Bread the ravioli. Dip each ravioli into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated, then dredge it in the bread crumb mixture until evenly covered. Set aside.
- Preheat air fryer. Set your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for cooking the ravioli.
- Arrange ravioli in air fryer. Place the breaded ravioli in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. It’s okay to work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.
- Apply cooking spray. Lightly spray the ravioli with cooking spray to help achieve a golden, crispy texture during cooking.
- Air fry ravioli. Cook the ravioli at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve. Remove ravioli carefully and serve warm with a side of warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- To reheat toasted ravioli in the oven, bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
- To reheat in the air fryer, cook at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes until warmed and crispy.
- You may use fresh or frozen ravioli; if frozen, thaw before breading for best results.
- For extra crispiness, double dip the ravioli by repeating the egg and bread crumb coating step.
- If you do not have Italian seasoned bread crumbs, add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon Italian herbs to plain bread crumbs.
